Singer/songwriter/poet/mystic Robin Renée developed much of her artistic foundation during her work with New Brunswick-area rock bands Chapter 12, Spy Gods, and The Loved Ones. With a heavy emphasis on live performance, each of these bands still released some material regionally on EP, cassette, and various compilation collections. In 2000, Robin released her first full-length, fully-produced CD as a solo artist, "In Progress."

Since then, she has toured extensively with solo acoustic performances along the East Coast (Massachusettes to Georgia), in the midwest, and in California. About "In Progress," Taylor Guitars said, "Renée's musical style blends a poet's eye with Punk and post-Punk's independent spirit, New Wave's quirky art-pop, and the edgy introspection with which [the classic] singer-songwriters... dissected life. (www.taylorguitars.com - Discover The Indies)"

Her poetry has appeared in journals including New York Quarterly, Northeast Corridor, and Inciting Desire. Her essays can be read in Blessed Bi Spirit- Bisexual People of Faith (Continuum Press, Kolodny, Ed., 2000) and in That Takes Ovaries! - Bold Females and their Brazen Acts (Three Rivers Press, Solomon, Ed., 2002).

In May 2002, she begins recording in Mill Valley, CA with producer Scott Mathews (Scott has produced, written for, recorded with, or performed with artists as fabulous and diverse as Elvis Costello, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Barbra Streisand, Semisonic, The Rubinoos, Eric Clapton, Karmacanic, John Hiatt, and many more.).

Robin's goals include continued career growth & success, spiritual enlightment, and to one year make Mr. Blackwell's worst dressed list.
